I am working as Office Administrator for ActiveWayz Engineering.

Meadowbrook Water has three deep groundwater wells that are pumped sequentially to serve a population of approximately 5,500 people including about 55 businesses. I hold a California D-2 Water Distribution License. Some of my work involves compliance with CDPH regulations: water testing, reporting, etc. and CPUC compliance. Most recently we were subject to a rigorous audit from the CPUC which turned up errors in asset reporting for a period of years. Through backtracking, correspondence with the County and sheer tenacity I was able to show that rather than decreasing our net equity by $700,000, it will actually increase to more than we've been reporting. Following the trail and creating a strategy has taken a lot of perseverance but it's been well worth every moment.The larger part of my current work involves project management. In 2011, we became involved in a partial main relocation due to a large new expressway going in at the northeast end of our service area. Our part of that project was completed early 2013; the larger part of the actual expressway broke ground in late 2014; as of July 2015 it is open. I've designed main extensions and double cross connection control devices, dealt with County officials, permits, research and future planning, particularly main extensions into areas where private wells are running dry. Most recently I've been involved in contract negotiations involving a stock sale/purchase and real estate sale. Working closely with attorneys on both buyer's and seller's sides I successfully achieved consensus on all the many facets of a very complex contract. Acting as interim CEO since May 2015, and with a staff of one office person and one field person, I am responsible for all day to day duties, liaison with the new buyer, infrastructure projects, budgets and all my old duties as well.

Liaison between designers, clients, contractors and store. Oversaw as many as 15 high end residential remodels at a time, traveling between Oakland and Santa Cruz and points in between. Most of my clients were doing bathrooms and kitchens, but I also had two whole house remodels. Involved a lot of problem solving and teamwork to resolve issues between design aesthetics and contractor realities.
