I am a passionate, motivated, and engaged learner, leader, and team player. Currently I am stationed at Fort Benning, GA fulfilling requirements to be a platoon leader in the US Army, including Infantry Basic Officer Leader Course, Bradley Leader Course, Airborne, and Ranger. Next summer, I will be assigned to 3-69 Armor at Fort Stewart, GA. My background is highly academic. My passion for history transferred into a rewarding study of European history at the turn of the 20th century within the history department at Tufts University. I completed a semester abroad at Trinity College, Dublin, where I continued my studies and immersed myself in European culture. I have learned many specific things about the time period but more importantly I have gained an understanding of the way the world works and why things are the way that they are.
