My first role with 3DPRINTUK was as an intern gaining the necessary experience needed to hold a position within the company. From there I took the role of production manager where it became my responsibility to manage orders coming into the system and making sure they left on time. This meant a lot of client interaction, especially with our high-value orders or with larger bespoke models that required further stages of work. My current position as Operations Manager means that I am in charge of the day to day running of the company this involves ensuring quotations are issued, invoices are sent and paid on time, client liaison via phone and email but then also ensuring that the company stays compliant with all Health and Safety directives, fire regulations, correct PPE is issued and is up to standard, booking any necessary training courses for staff. It is a very varied role that involves me having a thorough knowledge of every process and step, but also means I manage multiple members of staff and other departments. Show less
