Stuck In The Mud hosts a weekly run club (Thursday) at📍7pm. The meeting point is Burntwood Rugby Club Car Park, Chase Water❗️❗️. With the ambition to get a great bunch of people together who will run, walk, skip or roll their way through a 5K. Chat to one another, check in on those around you and how they are really feeling. It’s all about getting moving, giving the mind a break and being social.

Duties – Including all of the below. Responsible for Health & Safety compliance ensuring a score of at least 85% is achieved. Duty managing on days the store manager is not in-store ensuring all functions of the shop run to the standard expected including tills/coffee shop. Continually improving service scores and reducing number of customer complaints. Deputizing for Store Manager in absence, which may mean conducting business reviews with area manager/company directors or managing annual campaigns.

Duties – Reported to the Store Manager. Full accountability for profit & loss, responsible for driving store sales and profit performance. Ensuring the correct product mix was presented along the shop floor to improve weekly cash earner sales, top ten and impulse sales. Managed support functions such as stock audit and visual merchandising. Coached Team Leaders and Sales Executive to drive their personal performance as well as business performance. Drove profit performance alongside Stock Team Leader ensuring a strong cost management was upheld and continually delivered stock processes based off daily routine which lead to major improvements on our stock tracker which moved from -5.5% to -2.1%.

Duties – Managed all rotas for a store team with 30 colleagues, set up winter sale in a store with a weekly budget of £85,000. Delivered a weekly revenue improvement by 30% and Finished Winter Sale with the 16th highest sale participation out of the whole company. Led the re-merchandising of the Spring Summer 2018 product over a 7 week period of night shifts to ensure store was refreshed after a busy Winter Sale Period.

Duties – Ensuring that commerciality is at the heart of all merchandising decisions on Soft Goods. Working with Buying Managers and Merchandise Managers to ensure the stock decisions we’re making are correct for the business, and are the best decisions possible for key stakeholders such as stores. Coaching and aiding a small team when help is required or work needs validating before launch. Applying myself to projects such as Keep It Simple to try and ensure that workload is at its most efficient state and that we’re not wasting resource or time.

Duties – Creating briefs that all Dunelm stores follow when merchandising stock. Liaising with Merchandisers, Buying teams and suppliers to ensure stock is allocated correctly and innovating how space is used to increase churn and increase profitability within sections that may not be performing at their best. Analyzing financial information weekly and KPI’s, to help stores react to trade feedback so that profitability is at its best. Working with software such as excel, Spaceman, SAP to ensure everything required in the role is completed to the highest quality.

Duties – Whilst working as a sales executive, I continuously worked to improve myself on the ‘management programmes.’ These programmes developed me by teaching me all the qualities needed to be a manager, these being: Sales, customer service, cash management, merchandising, warehouse management, stock replenishment, ordering process, duty management through step up, sale setup, team leading, key holding and hospitality duties (informal role). Due to excellent performance in-store, I was recommended for a job by my area manager. This recommendation lead to me successfully getting the job.
