-Research involved the algae Asapragopsis taxiformis and Gracilaria in the ‘Slab Lab’ section of the Smith Lab-Collected, recorded, and prepared data on algal biomass and water quality-Constructed aquaculture systems -Performed routine maintenance and sanitization

-Contributing researcher to the Offshore Wind Environmental Monitoring Guidance in development for the California Ocean Protection Council-Produced a literature review and synthesis of the impacts of offshore wind energy on marine ecosystems-Paper titled “Evaluating the Impacts of Offshore Wind Development on Marine Ecosystems”

-Collected nearshore bathymetric data to estimate sediment transport and erosion at the San Dieguito and San Elijo Lagoons, and the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station -Operated surveying prism and signaling equipment to facilitate data collection

-Monitored internal project budgets and processed consultant invoices on 5 separate contracts-Coordinated project meetings between SANDAG, stakeholders, and project consults-Synthesized primary goals and objectives of projects and programs into public-facing documents -Researched and reported federal and state grant opportunities to Climate Program Manager
