AUT Racing provides students with opportunities to develop their skills through practical engineering projects, such as developing custom electric go-karts that implement self-driving technology.

As DCT Faculty representative I assisted students who raised issues, making sure they were heard by the people who could help them. I also sat in on various staff board meetings providing a student's voice.

Working with an operations engineering team I was solely responsible for a project to connect multiple testing devices to a network and record the test data, I then used this data to create a live dashboard to monitor the manufacturing line's performance as well as perform historical analysis of results.My time working on this project gave me experience.

Working within an operations engineering team my role involved completing a range of projects such as a root cause analysis of a manufacturing defect and implementing corrective actions. I also worked on developing an OEE model for an automated manufacturing line.

Working with the plastic operations team managing a range of injection moulding and extrusion machines. My focus was on creating a capacity model to calculate the utilisation of each machine based on the predicted demand of the end products.

I provided guidance to high school students who planned to enter into an engineering field (Mainly mechanical / mechatronics) and helped them improve their extracurricular and leadership involvement.

I worked within an injection moulding factory as a machine operator producing a range of plastic parts. My time in this role gave me the chance to learn about Adepts automated manufacturing operations and gain experience using heavy-duty injection moulding machines.

I was responsible for the mass production of high-quality medical devices made from carbon fibre. This role gave me experience in many aspects of the composite manufacturing process including Tooling design, Laminating, Infusing, Finishing and Repair.

Throughout high school, I competed at a national and international (invitation only) level in the VEX Robotics Competition - one of the largest student robotics competitions in the world. In my second year with the team, I was made a team captain and helped lead the team to multiple world titles and a place in the record books as one of the most successful.
