With over 30 years’ experience as a technical specialist, I have spent the last 22 years providing expertise for major Oracle E-Business Suite implementations, both functionally and technically, across Europe and the US primarily around manufacturing and supply chain modules covering Order To Cash (OTC) and Procurement To Pay (P2P) business processes. I have breadth and depth of experience of providing architecture, software development, performance optimisation and issue resolution. I have always added extra value to projects by having a clear understanding of client business objectives, good conceptual knowledge of the products and excellent interpersonal skills with team members; this extra value has been recognised by the long term relationships with my clients.I am a keen and tenacious problem solver, bringing an infectious, positive attitude to the challenges of implementation projects. I have a proven track record in delivery and have the character traits required to see projects through to a successful conclusion, together with an unusual commitment and desire to go-live. I have provided valued support throughout all ‘go-lives’ and have often gone to extreme lengths to ensure the success of the project. Oracle E-Business Suite ConsultantBoehringer Ingelheim Aug 2018 - Nov 2018Lyon Area, FranceBoehringer Ingelheim, a global German pharmaceutical company running SAP with over 100 interfaces to existing smaller subsidiary companies, bought a similar sized competitor, Merial, a French pharmaceutical company in 2017 which had implemented Oracle e-Business Suite in 2010. The analysis for this project was by the client in early 2018, and the implementation project started in August 2018 for a projected go-live in early 2019.This project was to provide an interface between SAP and Oracle e-Business Suite for sales orders, with the intention to eventually change over from Oracle e-Business Suite to SAP in 2022. Here, SAP could not be altered and all the changes needed to be accommodated on the Oracle e-Business Suite side of the interface. An XML document was to be provided from Boehringer Ingelheim, transported using FTP to Merial, and then imported into Oracle e-Business Suite as a sales order. This interface was the key interface to allow Boehringer Ingelheim to integrate the 2 large systems, with many other smaller interfaces developed by in-house staff. -
