I graduated as a Computer Engineer from Kansas State University in May 2015. Let me tell you a little bit about my story. Playing with Lincoln Logs and Legos from a very young age, it was just natural for me to become interested in building and designing. With my Dad working in the IT industry, we always had computers around the house and he was always showing me various things you could do on and with a computer, showing me cool games, how to fix various issues that can come up, showing me the hardware of a computer, and much more. Naturally I sparked an interest in computers, so when trying to decide what major I should pursue at college, I found it very easy to decide. I would simply combine my two interests from childhood with a result of: Computer Engineering. Since then I've always been interested in making everyday objects smarter. Watching various movies containing Smart Houses and other objects that were "futuristic"​, I was always curious as to how much effort and what it would involve to make that possible. I've always thought that it was possible, and that I could be a part of that revolution. Later, at College I took a Micro-Controllers class, which sparked my interest again and I began to see great easy ways to make everyday items smarter.
