My experience includes sourcing, vetting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and new employment orientation, as well as HR file maintenance and compliance matters.Human beings are the Earth's most valuable natural resource---we must take good care of each other. I'm passionate about creating an awesome candidate experience from first contact through the end of employee lifecycle. I experienced poverty, homelessness and other obstacles growing up that created barriers to educational and employment opportunities. Someone gave me a chance and I want to "pay it forward" by helping other bright and talented people overcome obstacles to finding meaningful work and discovering new career opportunities. Every candidate (whether hired or not) must feel valued and appreciated throughout the selection/hiring process. Hopefully by earning their trust starting day one, new employees will know that the people operations team is their biggest advocate. I'm experienced in both in-office and remote roles. However, a hybrid schedule is my ideal work environment. (I don't like commuting, but I do miss collaborating in person with my work peeps!)
