· Reducing average miles per stop, while increasing stops per hour with strategic route planning. Bringing our terminal above the goal of 1.52 to 1.6 stops per hour. We were also able to decrease miles between stops again with efficient routing. With a goal of under 12 miles between stops. · Maintained a productive and profitable outbound dock operation while attempting to reduce cross dock to ensure lower damage and claim rates.· Maximized trailer utilization by overseeing the efficient loading, stacking and decking of freight while implementing safe loading procedures. Utilizing the correct usage of dunnage, straps and deck bars.· Closed and dispatched outbound trailers, utilizing hazmat software to ensure the drivers had the correct, legal documentation necessary to perform their job.
