I started off in manufacturing at diane's gourmet desserts in le center mn, as a shipping and recieving clerk worked there for about 6 months then started at Caterpillar Forrest products in owatonna mn, as a shelf stocker then worked my way into machine operator in the metal fabrication department. Ran a whitney 3600 plasma punch and also a 3700 plasma punch. Also learned how to operate a burner table. From there i went to trystar in fairbuilt mn, to be in the fabrication department but ended up being an extruder operator. Then i went to my current employer as an fabricator and learned how to run the shear, punch press and also brake press. I did that for 3 years achieving senior fabricator and switched to 2nd shift and was in charge of 2 other employees,charged with keeping them on task and handling any problems that should arise, pretty much a lead without the title.
