I have had many experiences throughout my life. At the age of 18 I signed up to serve in the British Army. I chose to take this path as I wanted to help the community and serve for the Queen. During this time, I have been a Grenadier Guard in Aldershot London where I have fulfilled most of my duties. I have been serving in the British Army for seven years and I have learnt a lot along the way. It has allowed me to build my confidence and learn new skills. In doing so, I have been able to work as a team with my colleagues and gained excellent communication skills. Throughout my time in the British Army, I have served alongside the Queen and had the opportunity to help the MOD police with their duties. I have gathered a lot of experience from this, and it has allowed me to aspire in my duties. I have worked closely with the community by parading at public events such as the Queens birthday parade which I was honoured to be apart of.  I have also been to different countries where I have learnt to adapt in different working environments and had the pleasure of meeting people from different cultural backgrounds. I have been to South Sudan, Falklands, Berlize and Iraq. During this time, I have worked closely with other teams where we have completed training as part of different exercises to prepare for any major incident which may occur. I have aspired and feel as though I have gained a lot of experience over the years which has allowed me to have good communication skills and my confidence has grown. When it comes to work, I have done within the Army I would say I am a good leader as I have been able to lead my colleagues within training exercises and when fulfilling my duties. Moreover, from this I feel as though I would be happy to step up and take control of any situation that I am given. I have faced many challenges and feel as though I am able to use these experiences with in any job.These experiences have allowed me to work alongside other partner agencies to protect the communities. Recently, I have worked with different groups where my assistance was requested to assist the police with road closures for the King’s coronation. This was a very good experience as I was able to be part of a special day and I was able to work alongside different groups to ensure no disruptions happened
