Alpha Data is a SaaS music analytics platform used by some of the largest names in music, including Universal, Warner, Sony, Spotify, Apple, Amazon, and Google. One of two operators of the business, I worked to architect and develop the new analytics platform and web-based interface, bring new product lines to market and pivot the business into an enterprise reporting platform, while leading the migration of the platform to the cloud.Efforts led to 90% increase in revenue, 40% reduction of OpEx, and >95% improvement of API & platform performance (QPS and P99 query latency) in less than one year.- Worked closely with both executives and engineering leads throughout the entire sales cycle, helping them to refine their requirements, while incorporating feedback into the product design- Developed multiple proof-of-concept solutions for customers- Managed a global team of 15 FTE and contractors- Defined the product roadmap

System is still in use as of 2024.

Redesigned and launched BGR.com on WordPress VIP's enterprise hosting platform after PMC acquired BGR. Responsible for analytics, content and design strategy, and website development, working closely with PMC engineering.

Managed IT infrastructure, budgeting, and purchasing for all offices within Democratic Leadership, including the Democratic Leader, Democratic Conference, and TV/Radio studio. Helped run the Senate System Administrators Association, an internal non-partisan group with sys admins from all offices in the Senate. Worked with multiple groups within the Sergeant at Arms (SAA) on technology assessment, network configuration, security, business continuity/disaster recovery initiatives, and to improve the quality of senate.gov website hosting for all offices. Performed the first implementation of VMware in the Senate as a virtualization and disaster recovery solution; that model later went on to become the standard.

BackupMoxie was a managed backup and recovery service for WordPress sites.

CloudMoxie provided web-hosting, with an emphasis on WordPress and a focus on scalable and reliable solutions that leverage cloud technologies. Technology and clients were acquired by WP Engine.

Worked with DNC staff on logistics, setup, technology purchases for Studio 08, the official presence and TV, radio, web studio for House and Senate members at the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Responsible for hiring and managing a team of web developers, content producers, videographers, and photographers to support operations. Worked with vendors including Google, YouTube, Microsoft, (RIM) Blackberry, Panasonic, Toshiba, Apple for services and equipment.
