My primary specialities are mood disorders like depression, anxiety & Bipolar disorder, trauma and navigating life stressors and changes. I have also worked with and welcome individuals with psychosis, substance abuse challenges, relationship struggles, personality disorders, working through grief, needing caregiving/parenting support, and exploring their identity. I primarily operate using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, which is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also apply Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, trauma-informed paradigms mindfulness, body-centered approaches, and Motivational Interviewing. It is important to me that I stay current in research and use modalities that have evidence behind their effectiveness, and am always open to sharing more details about these approaches so we can identify what may work best for you.
