I have always believed that "Luck Isn't Enough" if you want something you have to work hard for it, and with hard work, comes rewards. I began Surface work in the O/G industry the in the Barnett Shale, doing title as well as S&P for pad site locations, and then transferred into a roll in the ROW department.In mid-2009, I accepted a new position working on a gathering system, in Deep East Texas. I helped in all aspects of acquisition, as well as handled all County & TXDot crossings. Over the next two years, we had developed a gathering system that consisted of roughly an 80 mile trunk line, along with 200+ miles of gathering lateral infrastructure for our parent company In summer of 2011, I shifted to South Texas to work on a 60+ mile segment of a 720+ mile major RNGL line. Once acquisition was completed over our section of the line, I was moved into a lead role, to oversee construction issues that arose, in which ROW needed to be involved, and make sure all construction stipulations/requirements were followed through with and completed.Mid 2012, I accepted a Supervisor/Lead Agent roll where I currently oversee 3 counties, and a team of ROW agents in the acquisition of a large crude pipeline running over 400+ miles. I look forward to seeing where this new role takes me, and how it helps me grow toward my goal of Project Management.
