* Co-organized and delivered a workshop on Machine Learning algorithms applied to geoscience. Well log interpolation, data transformation, features augmentation, facies classification and seismic texture segmentation were some of the topics covered during the workshop.* Studied the effect of pre-processing workflows on the FWI outputs. An elastic FWI was performed using a walkaway VSP dataset. * Processed distributed acoustic sensing (DAS) data for near-surface characterization using ambient noise interferometry. Extracted traffic monitoring attributes (vehicles density, average speed and estimated travel times) from a DAS dataset recorded along a highway.

Joined CREWES (Consortium for Research in Elastic Wave Exploration Seismology) in September 2012 to pursue a Ph.D. degree in Geophysics at the University of Calgary. Research interests: multicomponent seismic data processing, seismic modelling and seismic inversion

* Worked with asset reservoir engineer to assess well performance using seismic inversion attributes. A multivariate statistical analysis was used to understand the role of subsurface parameters in well performance. * Worked with execution team geophysicist and petrophysicists identifying areas where severe circulation losses and build rate problems could occur using seismic attributes maps. * Proposed a methodology to identify areas with different risk levels of suffering earthquake amplification effects. Generated the input necessary to characterize soil conditions in the induced seismicity risk assessment process followed by the asset.

* Executed pre-stack and post-stack seismic inversion projects for assets in the Orinoco heavy-oil belt and Western Venezuela o Managed and performed 2D/3D land and VSP seismic processing and PSTM projects for assets in Western Venezuela * Supervised service companies and in-house projects working on multicomponent seismic data processing and analysis for reservoir characterization, supporting different assets in the Orinoco heavy-oil belt
