My career in construction started more than 35 years ago as a laborer in a family business through college. Upon graduating from University of Arizona, I filled the seat of the Controller, building a strong foundation in the financial operations of a construction company. Sitting in a cubicle, I could see that the fun was getting things built so I headed back to Arizona where there was a booming economy and started work as a Project Engineer. I was quickly promoted to Project Manager. I was very fortunate to get the opportunity to work with some outstanding leaders and mentors which instilled in me a passion for creative problem solving, continuous improvement, communication, training and mentoring others.Specialties: Conceptual estimating, team leadership, problem solving, contract negotiations, scheduling, operational management, systems training and implementation, negotiating for a Win/Win.
