Craig has over 20 years’ experience in Natural Resources across ECM, M&A and equity research.He currently is the Head of Natural Resources at Wilson’s Advisory a company with a distinguished history in financial services that spans over 125 years. Today, the group has significant capabilities in private wealth, institutional sales, corporate finance, research and investment strategy with ~$30Bn in Funds under advice and ~250 experienced advisors.From 2018-2022, Craig worked at Petra Capital servicing clients across Natural Resources including Energy and Metals & Mining. During this time he was involved in ~$6Bn of executed transactions across ECM and M&A.Prior to this he worked for ASX listed Energy player AWE for 3 years as Head of Corporate Development. During this time he oversaw the acquisition and divestment process for AWE’s E&P assets across Australia, SE Asia, North America and New Zealand resulting in ~$300m in executed transactions. This helped re-position AWE’s balance sheet and ultimately led to an all cash takeover by Japanese group Mitsui in early 2018 at $0.95/sh.Prior to this Craig worked for the Todd family, one of New Zealand’s largest and most successful companies with interests in oil and gas, electricity generation, property development, minerals and coal, healthcare and technology where he was involved in mining asset acquisitions resulting in ~$100m in executed transactions. Craig’s experience also includes working for 10 years as an equity analyst, where he spent 4 years as a generalist before focusing on mining and energy. Craig is currently an Industry Practitioner for Kaplan Professional Education and was previously a Trustee Director for Australian Christian Superannuation Fund with ~$65m FUM.
