I am a financial, commercial, governance and government policy advisory professional with over 25 years’ experience in consulting and government. With qualifications in commerce and law, I bring a strong understanding of government and its processes from many years of Queensland public sector experience.An expert written communicator with extensive transport infrastructure project experience, my collaborative approach places me at the core of every project team. My proven track record of achievement extends across infrastructure and commercial projects, major asset sales and long-term leases, government policy development, policy and governance reviews and project assurance. I have significant experience in both business case management and transaction management of complex infrastructure and commercial projects. I am currently Manager (Rail Planning) in the Translink Division of Queensland’s Department of Transport and Main Roads, planning and implementing major rail enhancements on the South East Queensland rail network. Previously, I identified Queensland economic benefits arising from the Inland Rail project and coordinated governance arrangements and approval processes. I was also lead author of the Bruce Highway Smart Motorways (Stage 2) Business Case. I have undertaken strategy and governance work for Queensland Rail and Translink. My transaction experience includes key roles in the initial public offering of Aurizon Limited and the long-term lease transactions at Cairns and Mackay airports, and I was responsible for overall management of two Queensland State Budget processes. I am also an experienced assurance reviewer, having managed the Queensland Government’s Gateway Review Unit and reviewed major road infrastructure projects for the Australian Government.
