• Currently retired.• Previously worked as Enterprise Applications Analyst at UNC School of the Arts in support of Banner, DegreeWorks, Blackboard Transact, academic/financial records systems using Oracle tools (TOAD), Unix/Linux scripting, perl scripting, SQL scripts, queries, JIRA and Confluence for collaboration, project management, documentation.• Achieved certification in 2014 EpicCare Ambulatory Administration, through Epic Ambulatory classes, Kaleidoscope class, projects.• Managed the Eye Center email migration work assisting with migration of over 430 email accounts and 60 email groups from Lotus Notes to Exchange/Outlook. I identified 15 groups of Eye Center users, by functional teams and scheduled these groups among 5 waves for migration resolving problems for over 80 accounts, assisting with Outlook configuration for many.• Managed the EPIC/MaestroCare build, review, customization and signoff of a total of 250 smarttext, smartphrases, templates that represented Duke Eye Center's clinical forms, progress notes (by diagnoses, treatment), procedure notes, referral letters containing elements (smartlinks, smartlists) from the patients’ encounter, working with a representative doctor from each of Duke Eye Center's 8 service areas to review, customize and approve.• Implemented various imaging devices, integrated with Duke network, integrated with AXIS imaging repository system, working with vendors of these systems, configuring image uploads.• Work with Eye Center doctors and clinical technicians on development, upgrading electronic medical records forms, agents in Lotus Notes. Implemented and customized forms for Comprehensive, Glaucoma, Retina, Cornea, Pediatrics, Plastics and Low Vision service areas. • Support for Eye Center desktops, laptops, wireless devices, ophthalmic imaging devices, coordinating with vendors, Eye Center doctors, other staff, clinical schedule, and change advisory board process to schedule updates, resolutions to device issues.Over twenty years experience in information technology/programming/development including Microsoft and Lotus Notes development technologies, platforms.
