Systems Administrator / Intel Server Support 2007-2008Indigo Books & Music Inc. Toronto, Ontario • Developed VBS Scripts for such things as deploying 3rd party software agents, DST updates, DNS updates, Automatic Archiving & Deletion of logfiles. • Migrated/Moved Windows Server Systems off of legacy hardware onto new hardware. • Deploy and maintain IIS Servers for public website, use CSS network load balancing hardware to spread load across multiple servers. • Worked with online development team to promote their code into test and production environments, assist in deployment and troubleshooting of inhouse online applications. • Worked with vendor and DBA group to implement Ingrian credit card encryption system. • Worked with rest of team on a wide range of tasks, including: physically racking server systems, building/cloning systems with ghost and PE, troubleshooting network problems, installing / administering SQL servers, patching systems and more.

Systems Administrator / Intel Server Support 1998-2007TD Securities, TD Bank Financial Group, Toronto, Ontario • Deployed and supported 100s of servers, primarily MS Windows in recent years, but also "legacy" systems - OS/2, Netware 3x/4x/5x and Netware 4.11 under SFTIII; • Worked closely with vendors, colleagues and TD Businesses to implement and support 3rd party financial industry applications such as Belzberg, Encompass, Predator and LoanIQ • Designed, deployed and maintained Symantec AntiVirus across Canada and international offices across 7 servers with 4000+ clients • Deployed 100 user rightfax system. • Developed various WSH scripts for different groups within TD Securities, to assist in tasks like administration, monitoring, reporting, configuration, auto logfile archiving/removal, integration of custom scripts in MOM. • Solid knowledge of HP iLO xml scripts and integrating those scripts with WSH/VBS enabled me to greatly reduce time and effort of setup and mass deployment of iLO cards and integrate them into Active Directory • Migrated legacy Netware servers to Windows and NAS servers.
