These were leveraged to create learning pathways, apprenticeship programs, digital badges, etc. for reskilling and upskilling our employees and building technical talent pipelines. • Supported Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) including the HR Taxonomy to Solutions (T2S) team on critical skills workforce development, OneLM Transformation’s (1LMX’s) job architecture team, and OneLM Learning Strategy team. • Designed and led the enterprise-wide 1LMX Skills-Based Organization (SBO) art of the possible workshop creating cross Business Area alignment on personas, user stories, etc. to advance LM’s skills strategy and evolution to a SBO. • Presented to VP of Talent a recommended path forward with Skills Transformation to help the executive understand the landscape and evolve our thinking to skills as the foundation for L&D and critical to LM’s People Strategy. -
Team Leader, Talent Development & Talent ManagementLockheed Martin May 2020 - Mar 2021Bethesda, Md, Us• Received 2021 LM Nova Award (LM’s top award) for contributions that led to successful transition to a virtual recruiting and learning engagement model in response to COVID-19 yielding efficiency gains in design time, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) hours, and travel costs. • Shared the vision for LM’s Corporate HR becoming a HR Agile organization. Used my own team as the first pilot group. Leveraged my team’s success to win over other leaders to pilot agile, and over time drive the Transformation across HR. • Served as an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead on the new Taxonomy to Solutions project to create an integrated HR approach to compensation, workforce planning, recruiting, L&D, and workforce development. • Led the development of the Learning & Development Streamlined Solutions approach and train the trainer program. This innovation accelerated collaboration and enabled the organization to deliver L&D solutions at scale. This also greatly improved the agility of how LM’s Talent and Organizational Capability teams design and build quality solutions, deliver them faster to our customers to yield greater business value. Taught my team Agile development and Operational Excellence which we leveraged to create this program and associated deliverables. • Led a Scrum HR team consisting of 3 to 8 direct reports in developing Career Frameworks, competency modeling, job analyses, surveys, data analyses and other organizational effectiveness consulting services to internal customers. -
Senior Staff, Talent Development & Talent ManagementLockheed Martin Jan 2018 - May 2020Bethesda, Md, Us• Received 2019 LM HR Excellence Award (HR Dept.’s highest award) for innovation in work processes and leading the design of career frameworks for many Cyber, Data Science and HR roles as part of our strategy to attract, develop, motivate, and retain the current and future workforce in support of the continued delivery of value to our customers and shareholders. • Prior to my joining LM, it would take over a year to design a competency model for one job discipline (e.g. Program Manager). I set the vision to redesign and streamline the process. We achieved a 83% efficiency improvement in design time (only 2 vs. 12 months) and a substantial savings of Subject Matter Experts’ (SMEs) time too. • Directed my team to innovate further on the career framework design approach, so we can design multiple job discipline (e.g. Talent Acquisition, HRBP, etc.) within a job family (e.g. HR) in parallel. So rather than creating 1 competency model in a year, I successfully directed my team to create competency models for 17 job disciplines from 3 job families in 2019. • Led my team in transition to operating as an Agile HR team (Scrum team) enabling us to shorten design time, deliver greater value to the customer faster, and continuously iterate and improve our processes, systems, and tools (see above). • When COVID-19 hit, directed the redesign of work processes, methodologies, and tools to go 100% virtual yielding great design process efficiency and travel costs savings. • Taking a systems thinking and agile design team approach, I directed my team to redesign the job analysis, competency modeling and validation processes based on evolving requirements from other HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to create the maximum value from our deliverables to serve as foundational inputs into their HR processes and solutions. -
