Short-term project to complete the rollout of a Work Force Management initiative to enable Service Stream to track and monitor subcontractor's compliance with skills and qualification needs.

Short term contract to implement new billing system using the Scrum methodology.

Responsible for all aspects of planning and delivery of key strategic IT projects; Coordinate work between different departments, ensuring that departmental commitments are kept; Manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring all stakeholders are aware of the project plan and the project status; Negotiate project scope ensuring project success is achievable within tight budget constraints, and that project priorities are fully clarified; Manage vendor relationships and control budget spending.

Responsible for all aspects of planning and delivery of key compliance software projects, which generate over $15 million in revenue annually; Control and monitor multiple consecutive projects (up to 4 at a time), ensuring project progression and budget constraints are met; Manage project work of up to 18 team members located in 3 different countries (NZ, Malaysia, and Australia); Performance management and review of team members; Manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring all stakeholders are aware of the project plan and the project status; Negotiate project scope ensuring project success is achievable within tight budget constraints, and that project priorities are fully clarified; Recruitment and induction of new staff.

Tasks and Responsibilities• Lead a team of business analysts, ensuring they are strongly motivated, and have clear direction of what work is expected.• Communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, about specification of features and functionality, throughout the development process.• Allocate tasks to team members in line with project plans, ensuring team members have a manageable work load and that assigned work is in line with planned mile stones• Track and report on planned work versus actual, recognising and reporting risks.• Initiate, and lead Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs).• Actively mentor staff within the Design group• Planning and delivery of project design work • Conduct performance reviews of team members, implementing strategies to elicit the best work out of a team member.• Conduct feature walk-throughs with stakeholders and usability testing of new features.

• Analyse requirements, research options, conceptualise solutions and document possible alternatives.• Create and test UI designs to meet business and user requirements.• Develop detailed functional specifications from business requirements.• Create process flow models, documentation standards, acceptance forms, and change requests.• Present walkthroughs and high level designs to business segment team.• Conduct usability heuristic analysis and conduct usability testing.• Negotiate, and clarify, requirements with various business segments located in three countries (Australia, New Zealand, and Asia).

• Create detailed testing documentation, including o Test Scripts o Test Specifications o Defect Reports o Test Metrics Analysis• Key member of both the 2001 & 2002 MYOB Tax releases.• Sole tester of non-tax MYOB AO modules (Practice Management, General Ledger, etc).• Assist help desk with 3rd tier support.

• Help clients with operation of accounting software packages – Teletax & Accountants Office. Often this involved directing clients, over the phone, how to complete complex tasks.• Low level software testing and logging of bugs/enhancements for Teletax & Accountants Office• Find workarounds for software defects and document these workarounds for the rest of the team.• Assist clients in setting up Teletax & Accountants Office over network & stand alone environments, on the operating systems of Windows 95, Window 98, Windows NT and Windows 2000.
