Performed a variety of roles across market sectors and technologies including:DWP - Responsible for ongoing Infrastructure Design and Technical Testing of multiple large DWP Siebel systems (Pension Transformation Programme, Employment Support Allowance). This role required extensive stakeholder management and presentation to senior clients. I was responsible for agreeing the scope, budgets and delivery plan for these areas and managing multiple teams of up to 20 (~5000 man-days). DWP – Technical Architect & Build Manager. I was responsible for the architecture design and delivery of the batch, business rules engine and workflow components. This included defining the component architectures and delivery of the subsequent application builds. From a delivery perspective I was responsible for the budgeting, planning and delivery of all aspects of the design and build.DWP - Solution Architect on a large CRM project (Pension Transformation Programme) for the DWP. I was responsible for sizing the system, agreeing resilience characteristics as well as agreeing the SLAs and NFRs with the client. I also provided input into key design decisions to ensure the performance and scalability of the solution (design/code reviews, architecture whitepapers)Royal Sun Alliance – Architect working to ensure the individual work streams were integrated into a consistent architecture blueprint. I was also responsible for agreeing and documenting the interim architectures as the programme transitioned from the “as is” to the “to be” enterprise architecture.I also have experience of the insurance and retail banking sectors and the design/delivery of eCommerce and Client Server systems.
