I have a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering and am a licensed Professional Engineer in Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Alaska, Nevada, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Wyoming. In addition, I am a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFI, CVFI, and CFEI) and licensed Private Investigator in Montana and Nevada. My experience has included field engineering with a focus on failure analysis, engineering redesign, fire investigations and technical training for mechanical and electrical systems. I have conducted failure analysis investigations on five continents and worked in three foreign language environments.I have investigated electrical faults and malfunctions, particularly those causing a fire or damage, and failure analysis of electronic components and systems. I have completed dozens of failure analysis projects related to various electrical equipment including HVAC components, household appliances, electrical motors, transformers, control equipment, lighting fixtures / bulbs and wiring components, AC and DC drive systems and industrial power systems.
