My role at The North Group is to ensure we deliver operational results that exceed our client's expectations of value. I do this by providing oversight on all aspects of the organization, as part of the executive leadership team, and ensure our internal business operations enable successful external operational outcomes for our clients. I improve processes, lead staff, manage risk, find opportunities, and bring a wealth of corporate and government operational experience to the table.

My role was to lead, manage and enable the company and it's people day-to-day to get the best results possible for our clients. ASG prides itself on being one of the best investigative firms in the country, and it is a pleasure to have worked alongside such a professional team of teams.

I spent over ten years in the New Zealand Army, initially as an infantry soldier, before commissioning as an Officer into the Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment, and later the New Zealand Intelligence Corps. I deployed as the senior intelligence officer on several joint and coalition deployments to the Middle East, including with Special Forces, and in domestic counter-terrorism roles in New Zealand, specifically the New Zealand Police-led response to the Christchurch March 15 attacks as an operational intelligence leader. I also worked in signals intelligence as a deployed national representative, led the Army’s tactical HUMINT capability, and was the senior intelligence staff officer in a combat unit. I have worked alongside other government agencies from all across the world and have been privileged to meet some incredible professionals committed to making the world a safer place.

Prior to my military career, I was a career intelligence officer, working for the country's national security and intelligence service in both a domestic and foreign intelligence capacity, with a variety of roles including foreign human intelligence collection operations, counter-espionage, counterintelligence, and support to special forces operations. I worked at all levels of the organization, from tactical intelligence collection, operational and analytic leadership, to eventually being the Executive Officer to the Director-General. I left this role to focus on my very rewarding military career, which until then had been part-time.
