• Ten years of experience in international affairs research and analysis with increasing levels of responsibility.• Extensive record of successful project management, team leadership, and value-delivery under time constraints.• Deep experience presenting complex insights and conclusions to senior-level audiences spanning government, business, and society.Bio: After graduating from Haverford College with a degree in History, I worked for three years in Washington, DC, as a researcher and writer for a domestic public-interest NGO; followed by another three years developing government policy for the New York City Department of Health. In 2008 I graduated at the top of my class with a Master's degree in Global Affairs from NYU, and until the financial crisis I served as Senior Researcher for a New York-based NGO concerned with global poverty reduction and international relations. In 2009 I moved to Beijing, where I taught international relations theory, US foreign policy, and US-China relations to Chinese undergraduate and graduate students for two years. From 2011 until 2019 I worked at The Conference Board in New York and Beijing, explaining China's role in the international political economy to MNC C-suite executives, and helping them understand what China's emergence globally means for their business planning. For several years after that I did regularized part-time work as a Senior Adviser for Trivium China and served as a non-resident Senior Fellow for the Conference Board, focused in both capacities on US-China relations, international affairs, and trade policy issues.I am currently a full time principal writer for Insider Intelligence, focused on turning their data-driven analytics on global business trends into insightful, digestible, and actionable reports. I focus on China & Asia-centric technology, media, ecommerce, marketing, and digital transformation topics, and I write about these themes at a global level as well.
