Derailleur Films is Paula and Burk Webb of Portland, Oregon. Together they bring 24 years of film production experience to every shoot that they work on. Paula and Burk were looking for a website that would be a growing online showcase of their work and a venue to show off their many hobbies. Burk already had a huge showcase of videos hosted on vimeo so the only hard part was choosing the best videos for the website. They also wanted a modern look that showed off all the great media that they create.I was able to deliver a style to their site that showcases their great videos and keeps the site fresh by showing off the latest content first. This site was built using the WordPress content management system and now Paula and Burk can update the content on their site themselves.

Claudia Laub is a graphic artist and antique collector. Using a letterpress, Claudia makes custom invitations, awards and books that are truly works of art. She wanted a website that would show off her great work and serve as a portfolio to new clients looking for a unique product. I was able to deliver a site with a classic look that shows off all of her one of a kind creations. The site was built using WordPress, giving Claudia the flexibility to quickly post new content and expand her site with ease.

Tyson Wisbrock is a Portland, OR Director of Photography that was looking for a simple way to display his video reel. I was able to work with his ideas to bring his reel to the web in an elegant and minimalist fashion by utilizing a javascript “lightwindow” solution as well as using Vimeo as the video delivery service. This results in a site that is SEO friendly as well as fast loading. I have also optimized Tyson’s site for the iPhone. I was able to bring the minimalist style of his site to the iphone so his information and video are easily accessible on the iphone touch screen.

Pauline Zonneveld is a Portland, Oregon Photographer that came to me looking for a website that would really show off her beautiful images. Pauline is constantly shooting so she was also interested in having the ability to update, rearrange and maintain her image galleries very quickly. She also had specific goals in mind as far the look of her website and how her image galleries would flow. Keeping in mind the image-focused style that Pauline wanted, I was able to bring that look and style to her site as well as the flexibility she was looking for by setting up a wordpress installation for her and creating a custom theme that displayed the minimal look she was looking for.
