As a member of the Testing and Acceptance Management IT Department, the position involves:- determining how testing will be addressed: which modules will be tested and which will not; - identifying what kind of tests will be processed: functional and non functional (example: usability testing, performance testing)- anticipating risks, impacts and possible solutions- collaborating with Project Management to evaluate a possible testing schedule- creating a Master Test Plan based on documentation and discussions aimed at establishing the testing strategy- analyzing functional specifications, technical solution and detailed design- structuring the functional requirements of an application- defining steps, test cases, and scenarios- establishing expected results for every test and datasets where necessary- executing test scenarios through the Application Lifecycle Management tool- identifying program deviance from standards and reporting defects into a bug tracking system- reporting test results, preparing release notes, and writing clear, concise, descriptive defect and test reports.- executing incident retesting and regression- developing scripts for the automated functional testing through the Quick Test Professional tool- running the automated tests- providing testing support for third-parties along the User Acceptance Testing stage- determining incident root cause, by monitoring applications` activity logs - offering testing guidance to the newer members of the team- taking part in Lean meetings that have the purpose of optimizing the testing process

This position involves:- task allocation to a team of up to 20 testers, taking into consideration team member’s experience, knowledge and proficiency- supervising the team`s progress by checking the test cases` completion rate- building collaborative spirit and professional relationships within and outside the team- reviewing, opening, assigning issues entered by the team into the database- centralizing daily reports in order to forward an accurate and complete situation on the team`s progress on assigned tasks- creating test case documents suitable for each task, aimed to accurately reflect the completion status- offering testing guidance and coaching for new testers, encouraging people to be creative and think outside the box- providing a performance evaluation for each team member, when requested- using experience based techniques and exploratory testing to find and isolate defects

The position involves:- building collaborative spirit and professional relationships with all team members, facilitating the information flow- using platform specifics, and technical knowledge in every day test routines; also operating on those platforms using debug testing tools- using knowledge and experience to derive test case documents to improve the testing procedure within the team- maintaining / executing test cases- performing smoke tests before starting the usual activities- using observational skills to find, isolate, and describe defects with an adequate terminology- accurately estimating the severity and priority of an encountered issue, along with a possible workaround- executing incident retesting- communicating test results to development teams (programmers, dev testers, producers, networking specialists)- collaborating with developers for bug reproduction, responding with adequate information.- synthesizing and compiling complete test reports- offering testing guidance for new testers- sharing information of Jira database workflow and operations
