The goal of the study was to highlight how individuals with intellectual disabilities navigate within organizations. The goal of the study was to assess what factors triggered the greatest reaction to deviant behavior. Visited a major retailer every day for 6 months to compile appropriate data for this studyDesigned and conducted an ethnographic study to assess overall societal reactions to deviant behavior. Research team performed a series of deviant acts over the course of 6 months and reactants were observed and interviewed based on 3 sociological theories (Labeling, Structural Functionalism, and Social Strain)Wrote 35+ pages of compiled research and presented it to an audience of my peers, colleagues and faculty members.
