Director, Office Of Graduate Success
The Office of Graduate Success has been co-designed to serve as the Ohio Department of Education’s dedicated and focused link to postsecondary and work. The Office is a state-level bridge that links high school students to the world that awaits them upon graduation. The Office is a critical enabler to supporting the state’s efforts to increase annually the percentage of high school graduates who, one year after graduation, are enrolled and succeeding in a post-high school learning experience; serving in a military branch; earning a living wage; or engaged in a meaningful, self-sustaining vocation. The Office will engage closely with and support school counselors, teachers, and school and district leaders to develop and implement systemic preK-12 strategies to help students consider their post-high school paths and ensure they are well prepared to pursue them. To accomplish this, the Office and its team will regularly interact with stakeholders and partners from higher education, business, industry and workforce and state agency partners. The Office aims to emphasize the importance of access to early career, college and military programming that will allow students to learn, through experience, what is required to be successful in life after high school.
