Relationships are at the heart of what I do daily. I also love developing and providing meaningful professional development for educators. I have over 18 years in education, almost half of those years as a building leader. I have a heart for serving, building relationships, and helping others to continue to do their best work for students! ❤️I am most proud of the work I have done to be a literacy leader, shifting a system to 📚Science of Reading because when we know better we need to do better. I also am proud of the work on social emotional learning. The mental health needs of students are bigger than ever before. My focus continues to be how to help build SEL skills so that students can be at their best academically. 🙌 Outside of my day job, I love to volunteer my time for the local hockey association and my family's peony farm. I love to help organize as I see the big picture so tournament directing and oversight is right up my alley. I design all the social media and publicity.
