As a Sr. Risk Associate I own work and assessment of controls and capturing insights to drive process improvements relative to Card L2 and segment owners. I perform a key risk management role to help ensure control processes comply with applicable laws and regulations as well as mitigate risks. I have great teamwork, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to execute against strict timeliness requirements. I Test regulatory and business controls to ensure effectiveness and adherence; correct issues or escalate with manager if controls are not working as planned. Draft control test documents and care for supplemental test artifacts. Collect, analyze and measure process data on the effectiveness of controls, to drive adherence to enterprise control standards, make recommendations for process and control procedures. Research regulatory applicability. Assess control effectiveness to ensure they are followed correctly and mitigating risks as designed or escalate when necessary. Maintain and update process test documents. Collect and analyze data, and measure effectiveness of existing business controls. Communicate updates with internal customers on new and existing processes and provide internal customer support as needed.Collaborate with teammates on larger initiatives; may participate on cross-functional project teams and provide input for process improvement initiatives. May develop project plans to execute process development and/or re-engineering. Communicate updates with internal customers on new or existing processes; may include communications at the executive level; may provide customer service or training to users on process updates or rollouts; may deliver presentations. May perform the process or parts of the process as needed.

Assist with Complaints Governance L2 IPA remediation. Own work and assessment of controls and capturing insights to drive process improvements relative to MCC L2. Help ensure control processes comply with applicable laws and regulations as well as mitigate risk. Facilitate and provide daily maintenance of the Complaints Governance Intake process. Additionally, I assist with Agile methodology and productivity, influencing collaboration and teamwork, and implementing continuous improvement efforts within the team’s agile practices.
