As the Architectural Project Manager, I am responsible for overall team management, effective client management, and for completing the work within established quality, budget, and schedule constraints. I meet with clients in a leadership role, organize multiple fast-paced projects, manage project team members and remain design sensitive, while being accountable for the successful completion of the projects and consistently delivering success through organized teamwork following best practices and Progressive AE core values.

My responsibilities included the following:-Coordinate & manage all aspects of an assigned project-Estimate fees and scope of work-Prepare Contracts & Fee proposals-Prepare strategic plan for project success-Coordination of all administrative and technical project efforts-Responsible for project efficiency and cost effective execution-Acts as Primary client liaison for project-Responsible for managing schedule, budget and scope of work to clients satisfaction-Manage budgets, schedule, program, project communication, documentation, project team assignments, & internaloffice administration related to project.-Prepare RFP’s for engineering/consultant services-Coordinate work of consultants-Assist project team with construction details, overall project constructability & technical aspects-Prepare Project Manual or provides guidance/oversight to junior project staff-Responsible for performing code/ordinance research or providing guidance/oversight to junior project staff-Responsible for Project Quality Control-Manage projects of all sizes and levels of complexity*Note this Company merged with Progressive AE in November 2017 and I remained with the company through the merger. As a Project Architect, Crystal leads a project team in development of the aesthetic and technical design and the preparation of architectural design and construction documents including drawings and specifications for complex multi-family and mixed use projects. She collaborates and contributes to the Project Design while developing and coordinating the technical aspects of the project. Crystal leads the effort in the production of the construction documents, prepares the project code review and coordinates the work of various Consultants. She meets with clients and supervises assigned staff while mentoring junior staff. Crystal keeps Project Manager and Principal in Charge informed of progress or need for assistance. Crystal is an organized, strong communicator dedicated to productive team work making her valuable for Construction Administration as well. She represents the firm in the field during construction. Crystal observes project construction while aiding the construction team and owner through the use of Architectural Supplemental Instructions (ASI's) as required, answering Request for Information (RFI's), reviewing change orders and pay applications, creating field observation reports and conducting substantial completion and final inspections.

As the first person in in Lakeland Florida to achieve LEED Accreditation in May of 2006, Crystal began promoting socially and environmentally progressive designs on projects for which she was involved. As LEED A.P. Project Administrator, Crystal communicates sustainable goals through high performance design strategies, product research, and cost analysis. She coordinates and documents all required LEED credits to obtain LEED Certification for each project.

Job responsibilities included project management of a variety of project types including civic, commercial, education, higher education, clinics, and community parks. Crystal stayed involved in all aspects of each project from RFQ, proposals and interviews, through design and construction documents to the end of construction contract administration. As a project manager she communicated directly with clients, coordinated the design team and assisted the construction team to insure the goals and needs of the client are achieved.
