Developed multi-DOF strength amplification controllers for the Haption Virtuose robotic manipulator that utilized “virtual” spring-mass-damper systems characterized by human-environment compliance.Implemented controllers to increase robot strength amplification of human-applied loads from 1.5 to 4times the human force input while maintaining system stability.Independently designed and prototyped an adjustable, spring-loaded end effector mount for systemidentification testing that replicated human arm compliance in response to robot force input.
