There are many levers to pull and ways in which to pull them. My ability to understand commercial objectives and generate strategic creative solutions that encompass the landscape, marketplace, audience and marketing channels is my superpower. The challenge that commercial creativity presents is one that excites me each and every day. Art is great, but it is subjective. There is no pass or fail criteria - so the stakes are low. As a former professional athlete, I am not only used to playing high-stakes games, but I crave it. Commercial creativity allows me to scratch that itch and more often than not, I win.
