Integral part of the Management Accounts team responsible for producing weekly sales and stock reports, business analysis reports, monthly management accounts, the monthly board pack, budgeting and forecasting analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and the monthly company payroll.•Taken responsibility for producing the weekly and monthly Sales & Margin report, Stock report and weekly KPI pack. Contributed to streamlining the reporting in Access and Excel involving using huge amounts of data from the THEBS booking system, to produce more accurate reports for management to utilise effectively for planning and performance evaluation.•Analysis of weekly sales and stock data, including comparisons to budget and trend analysis. Provides ad hoc reports to the Finance Directors and Department Heads to aid operational and strategic planning and performance.•Works with the CFO to produce yearly budgets and forecasts through liaising and communicating with the various company department heads and Directors.•Collaborates with the Financial Controller in the preparation and filing of the Year End Stat Accounts in accordance with UK GAAP. Prepares the accounting records for the external audit and assists with audit enquiries.•Involved in in the production of the monthly management accounts including the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow for inclusion in the monthly Board Pack. Responsible for the production of the Board and Bank packs.•Oversees the maintenance of the fixed asset register and the calculation of CAPEX & depreciation journals, monthly accruals and prepayments, monthly balance sheet reconciliations and the monthly payroll for 200+ staff.
