As I look back on my journey of over 20 years in cybersecurity and signal roles within the US Army, I’m filled with a sense of pride for the work I’ve done and the challenges I’ve overcome. Currently serving as a Technical Director at ARCYBER, I manage multiple enclaves that are crucial to our Army's cyber operations. My days are never dull; whether I'm troubleshooting complex network issues or leading strategic initiatives to bolster our defenses against cyber threats, I find excitement in every challenge.Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of wearing many hats—from Cyber Warfare Officer to Senior Network Technician/Information Assurance Manager. Each role has taught me valuable lessons about resilience, teamwork, and innovation. For instance, while stationed in Germany as an Information Assurance Manager, I successfully led a project that improved our network security posture by 30%, demonstrating my commitment to safeguarding our systems.As I prepare for my transition into civilian life post-retirement from the Army, I'm eager to apply my extensive technical skills and leadership experience in new environments.
