As I look back on my journey of over 20 years in cybersecurity and signal roles within the US Army, I’m filled with a sense of pride for the work I’ve done and the challenges I’ve overcome. Currently serving as a Technical Director at ARCYBER, I manage multiple enclaves that are crucial to our Army's cyber operations. My days are never dull; whether I'm troubleshooting complex network issues or leading strategic initiatives to bolster our defenses against cyber threats, I find excitement in every challenge.Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of wearing many hats—from Cyber Warfare Officer to Senior Network Technician/Information Assurance Manager. Each role has taught me valuable lessons about resilience, teamwork, and innovation. For instance, while stationed in Germany as an Information Assurance Manager, I successfully led a project that improved our network security posture by 30%, demonstrating my commitment to safeguarding our systems.As I prepare for my transition into civilian life post-retirement from the Army, I'm eager to apply my extensive technical skills and leadership experience in new environments. I'm particularly interested in opportunities that allow me to drive cybersecurity strategy and foster collaboration across diverse teams.Outside of work, I’m pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Computer Networks & Cybersecurity at the University of Maryland Global Campus.
