About Oliver Richardson
I recently returned to Avanade's Data & AI business to lead sales for N. America. I have a passion for team-based problem solving, designing new processes, and adapting technology to solve business problems in a human centric way. I’ve spent the last 20+ years at Avanade, and over 25 years as a Microsoft services consultant. I started out in the infrastructure practice, before becoming the global lead for workplace offerings. Moving away from technical leadership I spent three years as client lead for several Consumer Goods and Services clients. The last three years I led our Data & AI business in the Midwest, more than doubling revenue in the last fiscal year. Throughout my career, which has spanned many industries, I’ve partnered with clients to collaboratively find ways to remove impediments to getting work done. I am based out of Chicago where I live with my wife Jessica and my son Hugo. Jessica and I met in the UK before moving to the US. In 2009 we adopted Hugo as a newborn in Mexico. As a family we love to sail on Lake Michigan, watch disaster movies, and cook any cuisine from around the world (as long as its spicy).
