I am currently a second-year Accounting Major at SUNY Geneseo, working towards my goal of graduating with a B.S. in Accounting in 2025. I will be looking to intern at accounting firms after my Junior year, so I can focus on either Tax or Audit, and gain real world experience in this field. At the moment, I am continuing to grow as a collaborative leader and honing my skills in order to be the best accountant I can be in the future. I am Excel Certified and have obtained my Professional Development Certification, while working towards my Leadership Certification, as well. Also, I am currently a Front End Coordinator at Wegmans. I have been very lucky to be chosen for this management position after working in multiple other departments throughout the store. This has been an excellent opportunity for me to learn how to work with others, as well as, being a consistent leader who is able to delegate tasks and stay focused at all times.Looking into the future, I plan on starting the process of obtaining my CPA license the year after graduation. This will happen alongside what will be my fourth year of college, when I will be working towards obtaining my MS in Accounting. Working at a CPA firm, in the Buffalo region, is my goal after graduating with my Master's Degree, in 2026, as I have lived in Buffalo my entire life and love this incredible city and the constant improvement in the area. I can't wait to continue my journey of becoming an accountant, and I am very lucky to be able to be pursing my passion at this point in my life.
