I am currently building out an inventory microservice for the OpenStack Ansible[1] (OSA) project. The osaconfig microservice is written in Go and utilizes protocol buffers to build a complete inventory for OSA based on customer requirements and configuration and transfer that inventory object to the target cloud. The microservice is deployed on Kubernetes and can reside either on or off prem. On the client side I am writing a custom inventory script for Ansible in Python to consume the inventory using the protocol buffers via grpc.Additionaly as a core reviewer on the OSA project I am working with OpenStack and Ansible to quickly and reliably deploy OpenStack Clusters. Since starting on the team we have revolutionized the way in which OpenStack is deployed on large scale clusters, becoming a de facto method of deployment.I was the PTL of the internal RPC-O[2] project for the Liberty cycle, during which time we improved our deployment times, ELK[3] logging stack, and the in-place upgrade procedure for OpenStack Ansible clusters. Because of this work, we are able to upgrade a running OpenStack cluster between major versions with little to no instance downtime and minimal (usually under 1 minute) control plane downtime.I have also worked extensively on the ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) logging stack, utilizing ELK we are able to provide a consolidated window in the myriad OpenStack, system and event logs of an entire cluster. Real time monitoring, troubleshooting, architecture and performance analysis of complex managed hosted, cloud based and hybrid environments. We utilize the CA Spectrum/eHealth/Introscope products as well as various 3rd party tools for a complete monitoring and performance analysis chain. I have also worked on the OpenStack project with bug fixes, testing and code contributions.

Senior Linux administrator for the Enterprise Services group at Rackspace. Responsible for all Linux OS and application escalations for the team. Also specializing in performance tuning and analysis of complex and large environments. Another facet of this position was peer mentoring and training of the junior systems administrators. Responsible for all IT solutions for a ~50 person company that was completely reliant on a 24/7 scalable infrastructure. Implemented a Samba 3.x/OpenLDAP/Kerberos Active Directory domain controller integrated with a Courier IMAP mail server to emulate Exchange 5.5 functionality to Microsoft Outlook clients. Other projects included SSL VPN endpoints, multiple website presences and a custom PostgreSQL database with a PHP based interface.
