Oversee the financial growth and operational success of the Arena, Parking and Catering operations at the facility.

-Responsible for the general operational oversight and selling of the Arena, Pavilion, and Classic Center plaza retail space.-Discover new promoters, and build relations with existing promoters, to bring an array of family shows, concerts and sporting events to the specific areas of the facility.-Coordinate the operational logistics of ice rink installation, including all UGA Hockey team relations, coordinating all volunteers and labor for the ice rink, as well as, organizing the Classic Center annual public skating schedule.-Responsible for all contractual obligations with tenant teams, promoters, traveling acts and work with event planners to ensure the successful execution.-Liaison with Levy Restaurants to maintain the quality and standards for The Classic Center.-Created and maintain the Sunday Center Market

- Plan, organize, and maintain a productive work schedule for over 200 events a year as by the Director of Operations.- Prepare detailed written outlines and instructions for events as required.- Function as liaison between clients and staff of The Classic Center by facilitating and leading planning meetings with clients and staff in order to obtain essential information.- Monitor assigned event requirements as interfaced with other events and activities scheduled in The Classic Center.- Prepare detailed scaled drawings illustrating event requirements with Turbocad and Meeting Matrix drawing programs- Coordinate equipment distribution, including tables, chairs, staging, pipe and drape audio visual as required.- Interact with the Executive Director, department heads and other Classic Center staff on a daily basis- Present event-related information in a concise, professional and accurate manner as required.- Serve as the primary contact for the client following the Sales Department as the planning process evolves from the contracting stage to the execution stage- Actively involved to assist in reaching goals set forth from the Director of Operations in regards to departmental sales objectives.- Work an irregular schedule as required ensuring proper supervision of all events and activities scheduled in The Classic Center.-Coordinate event parking between The Classic Center clients, the staff responsible for on-site parking, and the City of Athens.- Serve as the primary contact for all Classic Center Arena Events, including Classic City Roller Girls and UGA Ice Dogs Hockey

-Kept official scorebook for Fox Sports Net Detroit broadcasts of Detroit Tigers' home games-Collaborated with graphics coordinator and announcers throughout the course of the game-Created stat packages that enhanced the games production-Tracked pitch counts and batter sequences while looking for statistical trends

-Enforced rules and regulations for 14 intramural sporting events as outlined by University Recreation and the Student Activity Center-Assisted with in-service official’s training for flag football, softball, outdoor soccer, indoor soccer, 4v4 volleyball, 6v6 volleyball, basketball and floor hockey-Developed and evaluated officials through one-on-one instruction and written evaluation-First responder in case of injury and administer first aid when required-Appointed officials to game assignments-Mediated any conflict between participants, officials or spectators -Completed injury and performance reports as necessary-Responsible for opening and closing Outdoor Sports Complex-Performed maintenance on six football/soccer fields, three softball diamonds, four basketball/volleyball courts and two indoor soccer/floor hockey gyms-Set up cones, corner flags, base paths, volleyball nets or goals before participants arrive-Conducted Tennis captain’s meeting and was a primary contact for participants-Coordinated Fall Golf Scramble which included marketing the event, recruiting participants, scheduling tee times and acquiring advertisers
