Consult with Training Consultants, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Business Process Owners (BPOs), and the Global Learning Management System Team to determine appropriate training and development strategies.

Collaborate with senior leaders, program managers, and subject matter experts to write, design, develop, and evaluate leadership and management training solutions. Duties include, but not limited to:• Translate system strategic goals/needs into learning strategies • Write and develop training manuals/training plans and design documents for system-wide initiatives and large-scale meetings on topics such as Process Improvement, Leading Change, etc.• Facilitate and coordinate instructor- and virtual-led trainings and audit classroom learning for courses in DiSC, 360 Feedback, Driving Empowerment and Accountability, Presentation Skills, etc.• Evaluate knowledge and skill retention through learning checkpoints and the identification of reinforcement actions by managers/leaders post-learning event• Plan and develop communication and marketing priorities, strategies, and practices to effectively promote and keep specific audiences informed of program activities and courses

Strengthened and expanded the strategic adoption of instructional technology (using multimedia platforms) by clinical faculty, physicians, nurses, and allied health care professionals. Duties included, but not limited to:• Managed multifaceted training projects/programs that included the planning, coordination, development, and delivery of a variety of training initiatives for cross-departmental use in support of improved workflow and workforce development. This included planning and facilitating development sessions, executing plans, conducting job analysis to identify training content, developing instructor-led training courseware, and assisting with the development of eLearning solutions• Created online learning platforms (i.e. community of practice, computer-based trainings, etc.), training manuals, design document templates (i.e. storyboard templates and Adobe Captive eLearning templates, etc.) for all learning solutions.

Collaborated with Ministries of Health, non-government organizations, and academic institutions (specifically in Botswana, Kenya, and South Africa) to strengthen health systems and organizational operations through workforce development. Duties included, but not limited to:• Interacted individually or cross-functionally with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Program Managers, and Technical Advisors to conceptualize, design, and write highly interactive and cost-effective learning solutions (e-learning, instructor-led training, and blended solutions)• Formulated short- and long-term program goals, objectives, and operational plans that aligned with and met each country’s national strategies and priorities, as well as CDC’s global health goals (i.e. winnable battles)• Applied principles of adult learning and instructional design to develop competency-based curricula, which included training frameworks, lesson plans, facilitator guides, participant handbooks, job aids, case studies, etc.• Built and sustained close working partnerships with health sectors, government counterparts, national stakeholders and global partners/academia through active networking, advocacy and effective communication to build capacity and exchange knowledge/expertise

Designed and developed a national online self-study (e-learning) modular training course on STD/HIV prevention and control for local, state, and territorial STD/HIV program staff, community providers, and clinicians, using Lectora Professional Publishing Software Suite.

Established an innovative volunteer peer health education program (from inception to implementation) to improve the health and well-being of KSU students and the campus community.
