System and Application Integration

I worked as a contractor for Chick Fil A Corporate in their IT division. Our team was responsible for integrating all of the business applications across their network.

Northstar Network - Designed and built distributed application access and integration network using Java/J2EE, Apple, Windows Server 2003, and Sun software components. The system was designed using SOA architecture and integrated with Sun’s Identity and Access Manager components as well as Windows emulator software from a company called Tarantella. The core features of the system were dynamic user provisioning and application integration. I was responsible for the design of several major components of the system including: - user provisioning, - user maintenance - application provisioning. Wrote a majority of the key framework services for the system including:- JBoss Service Bus- Hibernate Persistence Layer- Google Web Toolkit Web Layer- Secure Remote Access Layer- XML template engine- LDAP Access Service - Automated Deployment Manager.

Telco Switch Architecture Team -- Designed and developed a database replication application that copied data from a MySQL database to a set of failover databases. - Applied J2EE/Message Driven Beans/WebLogic to copy customer configuration data during a customer provisioning event. - Utilized JDOM and Castor to map input XML requests to a set of business objects.- Generated a set of DAO objects using JDBC and a third party mapping tool called Cayenne.Enterprise Middleware Team Lead - Led a team of developers in the high level design and implementation of enterprise web services consumed by internal and external clients. Utilized Java/J2EE, Apache SOAP web-service engine and the WebLogic application server.Enterprise Middleware Developer - - Designed and Developed software modules using J2EE/Java/Apache SOAP deployed on WebLogic. - Designed modules to interface with several billing and customer databases in Oracle and SQL server.- Developed a generic SOAP connector for use with backend service providers. - Created several web service components including a large portion of our billing service. - Utilized UML/OO design in all module design artifacts created.- Created a module that returned local calling information and sales group data for an online order website. - Coded in Java/J2EE and utilized a Stateless Session EJB deployed on HP's App Server to handle remote method invocation across the company intranet.
