I moved over into the Core Lead role in April 2023 as we had an opening for the position instore and I was a great candidate due to my previous experience in the stockroom. In both roles, I have also carried out scheduling, disciplinary action tasks, notetaking in investigations, open and closing store procedures including safe/cash counts and 1-1s with the whole team regarding their development.

My role as Service Lead included being present on the shop floor and leading the team in providing exceptional customer service, their product knowledge and their individual development. I carried out daily and weekly SFL Floorplans, organising huddles, service observations and service metric reports.

Since starting my role with Nike, I have taken part in both full and part-time roles in both front-of-house and back-of-house. I am a key, valuable member within the team. At the start of 2020 I began a leadership program which included being team captain on the shop floor, training and updating knowledge of our staff and planning and carrying out inductions for new staff. This was halted due to the current circumstances in the UK. However, I believe that I have grown within my role and that I am more than ready to take on new responsibilities as I have remained resilient whilst we have been in store and also during our time out of the store through Zoom. The main duty within my role is displaying excellent customer service and to be a positive representative of the Nike family. In March 2021 I received an MVP award in regards to my excellent attitude and effort during our ‘Back to Business’ period.

My role at Southwark involved scoping, planning and delivering Digital projects for various departments across the council. I had involvement in large projects and programmes across our team that fall in line with the Council’s Digital strategy and goals. I also solely managed various small projects across our department and delivered these in an efficient, high quality and timely manner. My role involved both independent and team work, often including many different internal and external stakeholders. I took part in many business-as-usual tasks for our department including FOIs, project governance and administration tasks for the team. My role required excellent organisation skills alongside a proactive attitude and concise communication.
