I have just started work as Senior Marketing Associate at Emergent working on the LEAF Coalition - the largest-ever public-private effort to protect tropical forests.Previous to Emergent, I worked in the Communications team at Global Canopy across the Trase, Forest 500, Natural Capital Finance Alliance and TNFD programmes. I have almost nine years of experience in communications and marketing and in 2020, was awarded a Distinction for my MSc in Climate Change from University College London. My thesis explored the relationship between above-ground biomass and tropical forest health in Caribbean protected areas.Before this, I spent 15 months as a volunteer and paid Communications Consultant at the IwokramaInternational Centre for Rainforest Conservation and development, an FSC TM certified protectedarea of tropical rainforest at the centre of Guyana.
