As the Assistant Director of Public Realm Programming at the New York City Department of Transportation (NYC DOT), I manage and develop programming that supports public space and cycling citywide. With over 20 years of government experience in positions involving, transportation planning and management, public engagement, community outreach, data analysis, Human Resources, and government relations. Currently working on a bachelor's degree in urban studies with a focus on public administration and policy.I am passionate about creating smarter, safer, and more sustainable cities, using data and design to drive urban innovation and improve the public realm. I also have multiple certifications in strategic planning and urban design foundations, and I am a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. My goal is to contribute to the vision and mission of NYC DOT and to make a positive impact in my community.I am proud to be part of a team that is dedicated to enhancing commerce, community, and culture in the public realm while improving safety, accessibility, and walkability throughout New York City.
