Researching and writing grant proposals in fulfillment of the mission of Kulea Childcare Villages. Teaching pastors in Tanzania and Kenya.

Effectively transitioned the church through the loss of their former pastor of 26 years.Led in the successful implementation of ‘Bridge to the Future,’ a capital fundraising campaign, raising $750,000. Expanded the mission education and mission involvement of the church, particularly overseas in Central America and East Africa.Emphasized growth of Men’s Ministry by serving on the Men’s Ministry Leadership Team, leading several ongoing Bible studies for men and, and speaking at several Men’s Retreats and local men’s events.Implemented “Celebrate Recovery” at West Church.Led in three special emphases events that lasted from a month to six weeks each: “Faith & Politics” (before the 2008 Presidential election), “Faith & Science,” and “Faith & Art.” Helped veterans in our church form a Ministry Team for veterans in our community.Planned and led three to five hikes each summer in the White Mountains of New Hampshire for church and friends. Over one hundred people participated.Facilitated our staff in the redirection of the church toward comprehensive and intentional Spiritual Formation.

Began the arduous task of transitioning this traditional church to begin fulfilling the five purposes of the church in a progressive city through new and innovative ministry ideas.

Taught theology at the International Theological Seminary of East Africa
