In addition, I do legal work for churches and other non-profit organizations. This includes obtaining tax exemptions, drafting administration documents, and other related matters.I also serve as the USCIS Liaison for the Indiana Chapter of AILA.

I achieved Deans Honors multiple semesters. I served as the Vice-Chair of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society National Student Chapters Board. I also served as the Executive Articles Editor for the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies. I achieved brief writing honors in the Sherman Minton Moot Court competition and reached the Octofinals of the Moot Court competition. Additionally, I worked as a certified Family and Children Law mediator in Indiana and have conducted numerous mediations concerning child support, custody, and other domestic issues.

I worked in areas of criminal defense, corporate law, employment law, tort defense and various other litigation areas.

I assisted Circuit Court Judge Stephen R. Heimann by conducting research and advising him on legal issues, including criminal, civil, and family law matters.

I handled everything that involves external communications for the USHCC. For quite a while, we had no VP of Communications, so I was responsible for strategic, proactice communications campaigns to better advocate the relationship of Hispanic businesses in the United States with Corporate America. I wrote speeches for our senior management, and helped with our work with legislators and corporate leaders to better improve the economic standing and power of businesses around the country and in North, Central and South America. I oversaw nationa and international press conferences, press interviews, and I worked with major media outlets to give better exposure to our organization and our goals.

I performed various tasks for Edelman's Department of Public Affairs. Our clients included Wal-Mart, Boeing, LDS Church, PhRMA, General Electric and many others. I monitored client placement in various large newspapers around the country, edited press releases and conducted market research.

I edited and wrote content for the company's Web site and outgoing publications. I researched and wrote training materials. I also recorded and edited the audio for many of those courses.
