Consulting Engineer - Automated Hosting Operations:- As Consulting Engineer for a national media client, I maintained end-to-end solution knowledge, documentation and performance of our cloud hosting platform, an HA (high availability) solution consisting of F5 Big IP load balancers, a 10 server Windows 2000/2003 IIS Web farm, mid-tier application servers and a four node MSSQL Server cluster utilizing EMC SAN storage.- As Consulting Engineer for clientEDS (internal), coordinated technical requirements and deployment of external and internal web-based solutions into our HA cloud hosting compartment comprised of Windows 2003 IIS web servers and two node MSSQL Server. Team Lead, Systems Monitoring and MQ Series Support for client USPS:- Administered twenty Delivery Confirmation middleware application servers. Completed server deployment and migration of all servers during hardware refresh and data center relocation with no unplanned service interruption. This mission critical infrastructure performed the daily aggregation of package tracking data from 300,000 handheld scanners in the field to mainframe operations for processing. - Deployment and configuration of BMC Patrol, CA Unicenter, Candle Command Center, NetIQ, and IBM MSQ Series. Team Lead, Surface Air Management System Tiger Team- Led team supporting mission critical postal mail routing distributed server infrastructure, including second-level helpdesk, deployment support and server management. - Primary activity coordinator for a nationwide effort to replace 700 or 900 RAID drives deployed to 90 sites. This activity was completed with 100% success over only two days and zero unplanned downtime. Supervisor, Desktop Applications Support Group- Provided leadership to second level helpdesk staff of 25 system administrators and product support specialists. Served as primary point of technical and problem escalation.
